In a remarkable discovery, remains of a previously unknown species of duck-billed dinosaur have been found in Chile.

The fossilized remains were uncovered near the Chilean port city of Caldera by a team from the Universidad Nacional de San Juan in Argentina. The fossilized skeleton is estimated to be about 230 million years old and it is thought to belong to a small, two-legged dinosaur that weighed around 30 kilograms (66 lbs).
